Dead Stock - the team
Everything you need to know about Dead Stock and the team can be found on this page!
The beginning
The deadstock sneaker blog started in 2013. Christopher Blumenthal initially started the platform and media agency as a personal blog on which he documented his passion for sneakers and sneaker-related events.
The next few years
The one-man show has since grown into a small team. The team behind deadstock.de now consists of Annika, editor Joana, release manager Navid and Vanessa, who is responsible for the artwork, design and sales campaigns for our partners. The team is also supported by a group of freelancers.
In the following years, the team worked with the spearhead of sneaker boutiques, streetwear brands and the beverage industry. Partners include brands such as adidas and Nike in e-commerce and Jägermeister in textile production and marketing.
Collaboration
An example of such a collaboration is the involvement of Dead Stock Sneakerblog in the launch of adidas' successful NMD product. The visibility of the product's campaign was actively increased via the blog and its social media community. Furthermore, the collective around the news and affiliate platform acts as a media agency, which skillfully offers and executes the following services:
Photo production (lookbooks & mood shots)
Video production
Planning of marketing campaigns
Brand and business consulting

Your favorite release of the past few years?
Difficult question! Ad hoc I would say the Wave Runner 700 from adidas!
Your most-worn sneaker at the moment?
Campus 00s in Core Black and the New Balance 9060. The 9060 in particular is mega nice! The main thing is chunky!
Your Grail sneaker?
The Mars Yard 2.0 from Tom Sachs. I'm still missing one in my collection!

Your favorite release of the past few years?
Uh, many people won't understand that. It's the Martin Rose x Nike Shox MR4 in Comet Red! Such a wonderfully quirky sneaker!
Your most-worn sneaker at the moment?
The Ambush x Air More Uptempo Limestone from the joint collabo with Nike.
Your sneaker of choice?
I should have gotten the Stussy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 Fossil back when it was still available for retail. I really mourn the loss of that one!

Navid
Your favorite release of the past few years?
That's easy! The Action Bronson 990v4 Baklava, which was released in April 2023!
Your most-worn sneaker at the moment?
When I'm out and about, it's the A Cold Wall Air Max Plus White.
I also like to grab the Dr. Martens Adrian Tassel Loafer in Khaki Green when it needs to be a little more chic.
Your Grail sneaker?
The best Air Max of all time: Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1!

Joana
Your favorite release of the past few years?
The pink Gucci x adidas Gazelle Indoor in pink! It somehow always works!
Your most-worn sneaker at the moment?
There are a few: the adidas Pulsebeat SPZL x Peter Saville, CDG x Nike Sundermax All Black and the New Balance 992.
Your sneaker Grail?
The Tom Sachs Mars Yard 2.0, just like Christopher.
And I'd also like the ASICS Gel-Kiril Kiko Kostadinov Cilantro, but unfortunately they weren't available in my size!

Air Force always works. I'm very straightforward about that!

Adidas ADI200 and the Ozweego. These two models go best with my look!

Puhuuuh, I don't actually have a real "Grail"...
