Apart from a few inline releases, things have been relatively quiet around the sporting goods manufacturer ASICS since the beginning of 2021. That's about to change, however, as the brand is about to make a big joint comeback with South Korean company Andersson Bell. The two bring hiking influence to the GEL-1090 by, among other things, lacing paracord through the upper.

The paracord criss-crosses from the heel to the toebox and loops around the shoe through metallic anchors. In addition, the three different colourways complement each other. The shoe will be released in a silver, brown and black colorway.

And while each pair stands on its own, the collaboration's artwork undoubtedly steals the show from the sneakers. Either cloaked in amber color or half encased in crystal-filled cases, the shoes take center stage in a series of abstract photo sets. We have inserted the pictures into this release for you.

When can I buy the Andersson Bel x ASICS Gel 1090 Black?

The official release date of the three ASICS is already in a few days. More specifically, the shoes will go live on the night of March 26, 2021. In the shops listed here you can then buy the three colorways from 12:01 a.m.
