adidas adistar Raven Solar Orange - Latest Pick Up

The adidas adistar Raven recently dropped. Once again, adidas has rummaged through its legendary archive and pulled out a really good shoe. @christopher has opted for the bright Solar Orange colorway. Check out the pictures below!

The ADISTAR RAVEN

adidas has brought the adistar Raven 3 back from the archives and into stores after more than a decade. Outdoor-style sneakers are currently very popular both at home and on the street. So now is the perfect time to bring the Raven back. Originally, the adistar Raven was released in 2014. Although the shoe was released a decade ago, it looks quite familiar. The Raven comes with a mesh upper that is overlaid with full-length panels. These panels have a reflective coating so that the sneakers can also be worn in low light conditions. A framework surrounds the side panels, while the lacing system gives the shoe a technical look. All of this then rests on a chunky midsole and is rounded off by the outsole. Sounds a bit like the Salomon ACS Pro? Some think adidas copied the silhouette, but that's not the case. In fact, Salomon was owned by adidas from 1997 to 2005, so it's not surprising that the design languages of the two brands have blended and the models look similar. However, we celebrate the silhouette and think the shoe is absolutely in tune with the zeitgeist.
