adidas APS - latest pickup
A few days ago I received the white adidas APS, a technology that was developed back in the 1980s and was a major development in running at the time. The spring system integrated into the sole allows the wearer to individually adjust the cushioning as required, e.g. to react to hard or soft running surfaces, and a small yellow key is supplied as standard to make adjustments to the cushioning. I like little extras like this and with the adidas APS it's more than just a fun gimmick - I set my APS to very soft cushioning. I won't be running in the shoes anyway, because despite the really interesting cushioning system, the APS is an absolute lifestyle model for me. Of course, I also tried out how very hard cushioning feels. You definitely notice a difference, but I personally much preferred a "soft cushioning", and you can adjust the desired cushioning setting at the back of the heel. The white upper of the adidas APS is dominated by synthetic materials. The red and blue TPU stripes on the side, the split midsole and other logo applications on the tongue and heel provide contrast. Since the adidas APS was originally a pure running shoe, which can also be customized to your own needs, the comfort is of course really good.I find the APS really comfortable and in my opinion it only develops its full potential when it is actually worn. I was a little worried about the shape of the APS at first, but after looking at my photos I was very pleased, and I have to admit that I didn't have the highest expectations of the adidas APS. I had a few reservations, but I was still curious about the shoe. In the end, I was won over by the interplay of the different colors and the silhouette of the APS, and although the integrated cushioning system is really good and something special, I don't think you'll be using it for very long. But it's still cool, that's for sure! If you're interested in one of the two CW's, you'll find it in the following stores:OVERKILL43SINGLE-SHIFTMAKINGHere are a few more pictures of the APS, "on feet" and detailed photos. Have fun with it!
