adidas Consortium x Highsnobiety UltraBOOST & Campus 80s - Release

Anybody interested in sneakers should have noticed by now that adidas is currently going full throttle on all levels. The NMD is currently cleaning everything up and even in the days of the ZX Flux, I couldn't even notice such a high demand for a product.The adidas Consortium releases are also currently at the top of my wish list. The Nice Kicks NMD is a shoe that I totally missed and am still looking for. The Solebox Ultra Boost should finally be arriving today after a successful trade in my size. I'm particularly excited about the remaining models on the adidas Consortium World Tour, which will be stopping off at Foot Patrol next month. Foot Patrol is known for great collabs, but at the moment I'm unsure whether a model from the EQT range is really the right choice for an English store. Let's just wait and see! The collaboration with adidas and Highsnobiety was originally supposed to be released last year. Unfortunately, I don't know why the release was delayed by almost four months. But that's not so bad, because it's not as if adidas has slipped up in the meantime. On the contrary, some really good stuff has been released in recent weeks and months, and the collaboration between adidas and Highsnobiety includes two models: the adidas Ultra Boost and the Campus 80's. While most of the sneaker scene is certainly pining for the Ultra Boost, my personal favorite of the two models is the Campus. I can easily explain why this is the case: the gray Ultra Boost is simply not special enough for me. I already own the SNS Ultra Boost from the Tee Time Pack. The Solebox Ultra Boost is already available and I would like to have the Wood Wood. I see all three models clearly ahead of the Highsnobiety Ultra Boost. Also, and this is the most important reason for me, this thing looks too much like the Wool Grey Ultra Boost. I still own that one too and at some point it's time to call it a day. By the way, the 80's Campus is a different story. Unfortunately, the silhouette hasn't made it into my sneaker collection yet. So it would be nice to be able to lace up something special with the adidas x Highsnobiety 80's Campus. :) I also need a nice casual beater for summer days anyway. The release of both models starts on April 2nd on Highsnobiety and instore at SOTO in Berlin. One week later, on April 9, 2016, the worldwide release will follow at No74, No42 and other consortium retailers such as TGWO, Solebox, Slam Jam and whatever else they're all called. :) As always, you can find an overview of the stores in my release calendar What's your opinion on the collab?
