adidas EQT Support Ultra Year of the Rooster - Special Box

The adidas EQT Support Ultra Year of the Rooster is a release that many people don't have on their radar. The sneaker was released a few weeks ago on adidas and is now also available from other stores. I think many of you were put off by the relatively high retail price when it was first released. I can totally understand that, because I wasn't really aware that every single pair (!!!) comes in a "special box" made of wood. In my opinion, this could have been communicated more clearly so that everyone could really understand the price of around €250.

To be honest, I'm a bit annoyed now because I bought the shoe from adidas, but somehow the package wasn't delivered to me. So far, I haven't bothered to get a new pair, but now that I've realized that adidas has put the EQT Support in such a nice wooden box, I'll probably have to make up for it.

"These limited edition shoes celebrate 2017, the Year of the Rooster. Confident and courageous personalities are born under this sign of the Chinese zodiac. The leather upper features embroidery that evokes a rooster's plumage. A mah-jongg tile looped around an eyelet with red satin rope displays a rooster insignia. Other mah-jongg influences include a tile pattern on the sockliner and a felt-lined wooden box inspired by game tables."
