adidas Futurecraft ZX4000 4D I Want I Can - Release Date
After we informed you about the release of the black adidas Futurecraft ZX4000 4D I Want I Can at the beginning of the month, it's now almost time. The sneaker with Futurecraft technology and the retro-inspired upper will be available from tomorrow morning, i.e. 30.10. at 00:00 on adidas.de.
After the white version of the sneaker arrived in September, the adidas ZX4000 4D I Want I Can now follows in black. While the right shoe was embroidered with an orange I Want, the left outer panel comes with a neon green "I Can".
Why does the sneaker say "I Want, I Can"?
The adidas Torsion slogan has been around since the original 1989 campaign and is not the first time it has adorned a sneaker. A white colorway of the ZX4000 4D with the lettering was released back in September. Now the sneaker comes in black. The guys and girls from Overkill also used the words when they launched a collabo on the ZX 10,000C called "I Can If I Want" at the beginning of the year. Although the ZX4000 4D couldn't be more futuristic, by incorporating the old slogan, adidas points out that they have been equipping runners with suitable and technologically advanced shoes for decades. To paraphrase another adidas claim: "The past empowers the future".

Will the Futurecraft 4D sole be produced using a 3D printer?
The Futurecraft 4D sole is manufactured using a digital light synthesis process that produces the honeycomb-like midsole from light and oxygen. In the future, under the title "Futurecraft.Loop", precisely such technologies will also help to ensure that adidas sneakers are made from recycled plastics that are continuously recycled after use. The brand from Herzo has been pursuing the fight against plastic waste for several years and continues to innovate in this area.
