The adidas Orketro saw the light of day in the middle of last year. It's a homage to the '90s and brutalism. A design that meets the spirit of the times and is also totally comfortable. @christopher recently got the adidas Orketro Aluminum. THE ADIDAS ORKETRO IS INSPIRED BY BRUTALISM

From brutalist industrial design to the lightweight running shoes of the '90s, the adidas Orketro comes with some credentials. The OG was the "Bright Blue/Carbon" colourway, after that three Sean Wotherspoon colourways appeared. There are now some good colors available directly from adidas in the shop. And there is an update, namely the Orketro 2.0. It hit the (virtual) shelves after we got hold of the Orketro Aluminum. To be honest, we like the update even more. Especially the black and white colourway, they glow in the dark. The mesh upper and the additional flame overlays underline the brutalistic design perfectly.

For those who don't know what the term means: Brutalism is an architectural style of the 20th century. It features concrete as a prominent building material. And if you still don't understand what that has to do with "brutal": The term does not derive from the German word "brutal" or from brutality, but comes from the French expression "béton brut", which means raw concrete or exposed concrete means. HOW CHRISTOPHER STYLES THE ORKETRO

The Aluminum Colourway combines various light tones such as white, off-white and beige. Accents are set with purple night metallic details. The laces are provided with 3M details.
