adidas Pure Boost R - latest pickup
So, first of all, a cheerful "hello" to everyone. :) I got back from vacation last night and I'm officially back "on duty" with the adidas Pure Boost R in the best of moods. I had a really nice vacation and was able to really relax with my girlfriend. We had really great weather the whole time and had a really good time. It really couldn't have been better. In the meantime, before I head back to Barcelona and Munich next Thursday, I'd like to show you a few of my latest additions, starting with the new Pure Boost R, which has been available instore and at SportScheck since this week. Boost fever has been going strong since 2013, and it seems to me that the demand for this technology is increasing more and more. "The hype is real", a saying I actually don't like at all, fits like a glove here. So it's only logical that adidas is expanding its model range and presenting us with new variations featuring Boost technology. The Pure Boost R is one of these variations. The Pure Boost ZG was released a few months ago and enjoyed great popularity thanks to some really good "on feet" pictures. There isn't that much difference between the two models, only the sole and the lacing differ. In my opinion, both are better in the Pure Boost R. The sole is much sleeker and more pointed than the ZG, and the lowered lace holder is somewhat reminiscent of the ARKK Copenhagen models. The ARKK models in turn remind me of the adidas ZX Flux. So the circle is complete. There's not much to consider when sizing the Pure Boost R. I wear a US 11.5, just like in the NMD Primeknit or the Ultra Boost. The nylon toebox of the Pure Boost R is quite wide at the front, so there's definitely plenty of room for people with wider feet. The sockliner is also not too tight and therefore quite comfortable to wear. The Pure Boost R is definitely a good choice for the summer. Many people are bothered by the three stripes on the toes, which I honestly can't understand. Without the three stripes, the shoe would be far too boring and I'm personally excited to see what other model variations we can expect this year with the Boost sole. If the models are as good as the Pure Boost R, then keep them coming. :) For me, there's simply nothing better at the moment. You can find the Pure Boost R here at Sportscheck in the online store.
