adidas Rocket Boost - latest pickup

adidas is clearly ahead of the game when it comes to innovative releases. After the extremely successful ZX Flux models, the Herzogenaurach-based company is now daring to "transplant" the Boost technology onto other models, starting with the Pure Boost models a few weeks ago, which are distributed exclusively and extremely successfully by Foot Locker. But designers Yohji Yamamoto and Stella McCartney have also been allowed to experiment with the Boost technology, and here too the results have been quite impressive.My personal favorites so far are clearly the releases from the Y-3 segment, but unfortunately they also carry a corresponding price tag and are hard to come by due to the strict limitations. As a replacement for the Y-3, I have opted for the Rocket Boost. The Rocket Boost is significantly cheaper at a price of €130 and is normally available in the online store from adidas.The heart of the Rocket Boost is, of course, the sole. Once on your foot, you won't want to take the Rocket Boost off. The sole cushions and bounces enormously, which I particularly noticed when rolling off the heel. The running sensation is really great and, in my opinion, can only be compared with a few lifestyle models, and the Rocket Boost has a great silhouette thanks to the tapered sole, which is further enhanced by an upper made from breathable climachill material in a camo look. This material is also one of the reasons for the low weight of the Rocket Boost, which is stated by the manufacturer to be 250g (EU 42) You should be careful with the size, I went up a whole size, for example. I also tried a half size, but unfortunately that didn't work for me...so it's best to try the Boost models on somewhere before you order them online.As my first model with this technology, I naturally took a very close look at the Rocket Boost. I've been wearing them continuously since yesterday lunchtime and am now really impressed with the overall package. Boost, climachill - everything is nice and light, cushioned and breathable. I'm really satisfied and couldn't imagine anything better for the summer.
