Alexander Wang x adidas

As of this week, the lookbook for the third collaboration between Alexander Wang and adidas Originals is available. The collection apparently also includes two basketball sneakers that personally remind me of the Ewing Athletics models, and the first images show two colorways whose uppers seem to be made of different overlays and materials. I find the lacing system that Wang has used on both models particularly interesting. The instep also looks really cool and somehow reminds me of the hem of a sweater.As with the Alexander Wang "Run Clean", Boost technology has also been used in the midsole of this silhouette. The use of Boost technology probably also explains the relatively high retail price of around 260 USD, at which both models will be sold from April 1st.I personally really like the bright colorway, especially because spring is slowly getting underway. I also like the trend towards slightly chunkier sneakers. Let's see if we get to see more in this respect in the coming months.
