Asics Gel Lyte V & "Atomic Blue" - latest pickup

BAM BAM BAM...good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Hope you are all well! I'm sending you sunny greetings from the very pleasantly warm Okurcalar in Turkey. I'm doing great here and I just wanted to share my good mood with you before I start with my post about one of my latest acquisitions... As many of you have noticed before I started my trip, I had some problems choosing my shoes for my vacation with my girlfriend. I actually only wanted to take three pairs with me, but in the end I ended up with five pairs for the two weeks. I'm sure you'll find out which ones I chose over the next few days. The Nike Sock Racer Retro from 2003 (not 2014!!!) you've probably already spotted on my fanpage or in one of the "on feet" groups, but the second pair I've chosen is one of the new Asics Gel Lyte V in the blue-grey OG colorway. For me personally, as a lover of these colorways, an absolute "must have" and definitely one of the best GR's from Asics in recent times. I'm generally a "fanboy" of the Gel Lyte V silhouette, and this colorway just had to go. Since I didn't get the last two Fieg releases either, I consider the shoe a small consolation for me, but I can live with it quite well. After all, the Rosegold and the Sage weren't quite the real deal either, at least if you look at the unfiltered photos, but the Asics Gel Lyte V that I'm presenting to you here isn't the only "V" that has found its way to me in the last few days. As I said, apparently I had something to make up for, so I also got myself this CW. When I compare the two pairs, I have to point out that I like the blue-grey color variant much better so far. But as the saying goes, "don't count your chickens before they hatch", so I'll wait and see how the "white / black - purple - white" looks on the foot, as I haven't worn or photographed it yet. Another plus point of both models is the coarse mesh. I think you see it far too rarely these days. Slowly, but really only very slowly, I'm getting fed up with these perforated, over-hyper materials that are constantly being advertised to us on every corner.
