BOUNCE™:S Limited Edition | Porsche Design Sport by adidas

The collaboration between Porsche Design and adidas caused quite a stir in our sneaker cosmos last year at the latest. The adidas Ultra Boost from Porsche Design Sport by adidas, for example, was a highly sought-after model and always sold out within a very short time, and to build on the success of recent years, the brand is now presenting a new edition of its iconic BOUNCE™:S series, which was inspired by the automotive industry when it was launched in 2008.The built-in suspension system in the midsole is one of the most interesting aspects of the BOUNCE™:S range, as similar to the Boost technology, the forces applied are converted into energy by a special pivot system and then returned to the runner. To illustrate the years of innovation and further development of the BOUNCE™:S range, Porsche Design Sport by adidas has created the BOUNCE™:S CHRONICLES video, which is intended to illustrate the technical development over the four different generations. BOUNCE™:S L

If you prefer a mix of chic and sporty, the BOUNCE™:S L is certainly the first choice for you. Premium leather was used for the upper of this model, which works well both on the road and in the gym.

BOUNCE™:S2

The BOUNCE™:S2 was released in mid-2010. The streamlined mesh surface is particularly interesting and made the BOUNCE™:S2 my personal favorite. The upper material is supposed to be particularly breathable and therefore guarantee optimum comfort. A powerful thing!

BOUNCE™:S3

The concept of the one-piece, breathable mesh upper has also been continued with the BOUNCE™:S3. Another feature is that no seams have been used for the upper material, meaning that any skin irritation can be avoided right from the start. The BOUNCE™:S3 was released in November 2012 and represented a real milestone thanks to its futuristic design and a number of technical innovations.

BOUNCE™:S4

The BOUNCETM:S4 is the latest and best generation of BOUNCE™:S technology. By using an ultra-light carbon plate on the heel, the weight of the BOUNCE™:S4 has been reduced by around 20%. As with the previous models, mesh was once again used for the upper of this model. The aim was to achieve the greatest possible comfort and optimize the running feel. The BOUNCE™:S4 was first released at the end of 2014 and received a number of awards in the categories of high quality, design and ergonomics in the years that followed, and I think that all four models have caused quite a stir. The cushioning is "one of a kind" and is not used on any other models. Personally, I think the BOUNCE™:S2 and the BOUNCE™:S3 are the best because the upper material simply fascinates me.
