Converse Star Player 76 - Latest Pick Up

@christopher has got himself the new Converse Star Player 76. As many may not know, Christopher started collecting Converse through skating. Years later, of course, some other sneakers from other brands were added, but the origin of Christopher's passion for collecting is Converse shoes. That's why he is an absolute fan of the Star Player 76 silhouette. The new colorway is part of Converse's We Create Next collection.

New We Create Next Campaign from Converse features a dozen skaters from around the world Converse has been ingrained in the culture since the beginning of skateboarding nearly 75 years ago. Converse believes that at the heart of skateboarding is creativity - the ability to see the world through different eyes, think uniquely, embrace new perspectives, push boundaries and relentlessly create what's next - and this skate mentality inspires the campaign.

With "We Create Next," Converse brings together up-and-coming and established, diverse personalities from all corners of the globe. Among others, the skaters include Louie Lopez, Alexis Sablone, Evan Mock, Zion Effs, Ariana Spencer and Tyler, The Creator.

The CONVERSE STAR PLAYER 76

Inspired by the All Star, the Star Player first appeared in the 1970s as the "Star and Chevron" for the basketball court. But just like the Chuck Taylor All Star, the silhouette eventually spilled over into skateboarding. It wasn't until the early 2000s that the shoe was renamed the Star Player and in 2023 it made a big comeback. The Star Player is now equipped with all the new technologies: OrthoLite cushioning and breathable mesh lining for all-day comfort.

HOW CHRISTOPHER WEARS THE STAR PLAYER 76

The Star Player is a simple low-top shoe with an upper made from crisp cotton canvas and a padded collar. Whereby it now also comes in different suede versions, just like Christopher's colorway. The upper comes in dark green suede and details in white and black. In addition, @christopher wears XXXX. Unfortunately, the colorway is not currently available online at Converse, but at Snipes, for example.
