First images of the Nike Air Max 1 Concepts have surfaced

The Air Max 1 turns 35 this year. We all know birthdays should be celebrated and Nike does that in an exemplary way. The Patta team has basically celebrated with their designs and with the Nike Air Max 1 Concepts the party is entering the second round. But we can also look forward to a few more gold pieces this year, check out the Air Max 1 2022. But for now, this is about the upcoming collaboration.

For those who don't know Concepts : This is an exquisite sneaker boutique from Boston. Deon Point, Creative Director at Concepts , is definitely known for outlandish ideas. Some may still remember the Concepts x Nike Dunk Turdunken or the Kyrie 7 Concepts Horus . This time, however, the two new Air Max 1 models are entirely inspired by Boston and its rock music.

The base of the first colourway is made of light denim. The upper is then adorned with rich purple and green panels with a paisley pattern. The Swoosh is embroidered with flowers. One item is made of real cowhide. Hmm, stylistically cool, but faux fur would have done as well. The elements are arguably all inspired by rock bands and the costumes they wore on their Boston tours. It's best to look at the pictures for yourself before we write a novel here. The basis of the second colourway comes in even lighter denim. Some paisley elements have been replaced with camo here. The colors are more muted and easier to combine. But here's another tip: look at the pictures for yourself. Pretty crazy designs overall. Maybe a little too colorful for us, but the boats are still good and hard to come by anyway.
