Asics Gel Lyte V OG - latest pickup
When it was announced that KITH was releasing two OG colorways of the Gel Lyte V OG, I was immediately hooked. I love the OG colorways anyway, and the Gel Lyte V is becoming one of my favorite silhouettes in the entire runner range. I would now have real problems deciding whether I prefer the Gel Lyte V or the Gel Saga. To be honest, that irritates me a little, but I think that's a different topic and doesn't really belong here...
GEL LYTE V OG - A REAL BRETT!
In the beginning, I thought the Magenta CW was much better than the Sky Blue, which is the subject of this article. The shade is a real power, especially in combination with a beautiful bright white. In the meantime, however, I like the sky blue CW better, and I honestly don't even know why. I don't really like blue shoes, and yet a few models in this shade have crept into my collection over the last few months ( Cove, ZX Flux, KFE GT II... ).
One thing bothers me personally about the OG colorways. The material used attracts an incredible amount of dust. I already noticed this with the first release last year. It's really annoying because the shoes get dirty almost by themselves. My suggestion: Instead of some stupid headbands, maybe KITH should put a proper lint roller in the box. Even with the KITH logo for all I care....that would be something, wouldn't it? ;-)
My personal conclusion on the shoe can of course only be good. Both models are great shoes for the summer thanks to their clean color scheme - despite their susceptibility to dirt, dust and the like...
Unfortunately, I can't tell you at the moment whether KITH still has any in stock. But I would be surprised if the OG colorways were sold out by now, after all, both models were not among the most popular Fieg releases this year. Just take a look at KITH yourself and check the situation, it's easiest... ;)
