HUF Nike SB Dunk collection - coming soon

*EDIT: July 15, 2022. *: The rumors are true! @Prvt.selection reveals the secret of the new HUF Nike collection: the San Francisco and New York colorways feature a tear-away upper. Under the inconspicuous white midpanel hides a tie-dye print, which we already know from the HUF Nike SB Dunk High. The black San Francisco colorway surprises with an orange/black batik pattern and looks confusingly similar to its predecessor in the high variant. The New York model features a blue and white tie-dye print to match the rest of the design. Feel free to check out the updated images.

As previously described by us, on the heel of the various models are depicted the skyline corresponding to the name. But not only this detail points to the eponymous cities, the color selection is also adapted accordingly. The New York colorway is in the blue/white of the Yankees and the San Francisco sneaker in the colors of the San Francisco Giants. The models inspired by important cities for Keith Hufnagel have another important detail. The heel of the sneakers features an embroidered "KEITH FOREVER" above the embossed skyline. The Family & Friends colorway joins the other two models and has both skylines directly imprinted on the heels. Above it, you'll find embroidered HUF branding.

We are still mourning the death of skateboarding legend Keith Hufnagel, who passed away from a brain tumor in September 2020. The label HUF, which he founded, is still bringing out a new Nike SB Dunk collection, in which we can admire three colourways. His label celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and continues the legacy created by Keith Hufnagel himself. HUF is best known for its previous models of the SB Air Trainer 1 and SB Dunk High. Now the fourth collab is being released with the new HUF Nike SB Dunk.

THESE COLORWAYS ARE PART OF THE NEW COLLECTION

The new collection consists of three colourways: SB Dunk Low San Francisco, New York and F&F. Two of the three models are inspired by important cities for the deceased skater and are accompanied by a Family & Friends model.

The SB Dunk Low San Francisco pays homage to the adopted home of the HUF founder. The Dunk features a white base made of smooth leather, decorated with black overlays. On the grey heel we can marvel at the San Francisco skyline. This matches the color of the Swoosh perfectly and, together with the simple HUF branding on the toe box, rounds off the look.

New York is Keith Hufnagel's hometown and serves as the inspiration for the blue colorway. It is designed according to the same scheme as the San Francisco Dunk. Here too we find a skyline on the heel of the sneaker, the skyline of New York. Both models are rounded off by a midsole in the shade of Sail and a black rubber sole.

The Family & Friends colorway deviates slightly from the scheme of the other two Dunks and is the highlight of the new collection. If you prefer something gaudy and flashy, this Dunk is the right model for you. The light grey base made of smooth leather is provided with dark grey overlays and offers the optimal stage for the characteristic tie-dye print on the mid panel. In the center of the green print is a white Swoosh, which gets a certain dynamic through its placement. Green accents on the tongue, the laces and the heel pick up the color scheme and round off the look. This model also features HUF branding on the toe box and the well-known Nike logo on the tongue.

RELEASE OF THE NEW NIKE SB

The new HUF Nike SB Dunk collection is scheduled to be launched later this year.
