KangaROOS GAMMA+ / The Six Stores Collab

The fact that a handful of stores in Germany have joined forces just to design individual sneakers has never happened in the past. But why not try something new? Collabos with fashion brands, rappers or other artists have already been done enough. So I find the idea of a collaboration with Germany's best-known stores very refreshing, and the inspiration for the KangaROOS GAMMA+ comes from Bob Gamm. The passionate runner and father of KangaROOS sneakers is the namesake of the project. The addition of A+ in the name of the model underlines the relevance of the collaborating stores for the German market.the following stores are part of this unprecedented collaboration:Afew (Düsseldorf) / asphaltgold (Darmstadt) / 43einhalb (Fulda) /Overkill (Berlin) / The Good Will Out (Cologne) / Suppa (Stuttgart)The OMNICOIL was revived at the end of last year and forms the basis for the project. The upper of the OMNICOIL consists of a mix of mesh and suede. The sneaker itself is relatively unagitated in its colorway. Only the mint-green highlights give the OMNICOIL a certain accent. Personally, I quite like the simple colorway. A nice retro, which in my opinion also comes across as much more grown-up than the collabo with Sneakers Mag a few months ago.you could already catch a first glimpse of the GAMMA+ last Sunday at KLEKT.ION.
