Nike Air Max 1 Jewel - latest pickup

An Air Max 1 on my blog. I never thought I'd see it again... But somehow, during my holiday in Turkey, I fell so in love with it that I absolutely had to get my hands on it. The Air Max 1 Jewel certainly wasn't cheap, but what's the right price for such a classic that hasn't been available for a long time? Can you answer this question? I can't. At first, I wasn't at all sure whether the Air Max 1 Jewel would last. The upper is not the problem with the shoe. Such high-quality leather lasts for years, I wasn't worried about that at all. The problem was the sole, where nobody could give me one hundred percent certainty that the sneaker would even survive the first few steps, so yesterday I went out to take the first pictures of my new Nike Air Max 1 Jewel. Very carefully and "on quiet soles"...at least that's what the saying goes. After the first few meters it was already clear that the sole would hold, especially because I did the famous fingernail test beforehand. Although my new Nike Air Max 1 Jewel is already around 18 years old (its birthday is on October 8, 2015), it still has enough softener in the sole to hopefully accompany me for the next few years. Bomb! :)I don't currently own that many vintage Nike sneakers. The Air Max 1 Jewel is only my second pair after the Oceania Velcro. With ASICS, I'm already in a much better position. But it's also logical, because ASICS is one of my favorite brands. I'm always on the lookout for well-preserved vintage sneakers...and I'm usually very successful! I doubt I'll extend my search for more OGs from Nike. These things are generally in such high demand and are therefore traded at disgustingly high prices. Besides, every collector, including me, should start to differentiate at some point...otherwise soon there will only be dry bread and tap water. I don't want that either. :)I would now like to know what you think of my new Air Max 1 Jewel? Are you prepared to spend more than €200 on one of these, or is it too much for you? To be honest, I had reached my pain threshold, especially because I wasn't sure whether it would last at all. I would be delighted if you could leave your opinion in the comments.
