Nike Air Skylon II Solar Red - latest pickup

Before we continue with the new colorways of the Nike Air Skylon II retro in the near future, I wanted to briefly present you the pictures of my "Solar Red" here on the blog.The release of the Skylon retro was a complete success for Nike. I wasn't quite sure at first whether the market would be receptive to such a long-established retro silhouette at the moment. After all, there was very little hype around the shoe before the release, and that is usually an indicator that a shoe is less likely to perform well. In hindsight, however, I can readily admit that I probably underestimated the rather large fan base of the Skylon. Some stores were completely sold out within a few minutes and even at Nike, for example, the Blue Lagoon had already disappeared from the store on the first day.

Basically, you can or must now say that Nike has been doing a really good job of reissuing popular silhouettes since the "new" Air Max 1 at the latest. The retros are absolutely on point in terms of both shape and materials and don't need to hide from the original models.
