Nike P-6000 Hemp - all pictures & info
Nike releases a new colorway of the currently popular P-6000 silhouette. The Hemp/Phantom/Sanddrift has also taken a liking to @christopher and is finding its way onto the high private shoe shelves. The lifestyle shoe is the sequel to the iconic Nike Pegasus from 1983.
The P-6000
As already briefly mentioned, the P-6000 is a further development. The sneaker first appeared on the radar in 2019 and has since earned itself a secure place on the popularity scale. The model impresses above all with a retro-futuristic design that captures the chunky aesthetic of running shoes from the 2000s. But it's not just the look that is inspired, the outsole can also easily keep up and promises a comfortable feel even after 10,000 steps. A feature that makes the sneaker versatile.
In direct comparison with the Pegasus series, the strongest similarities can be seen with the Pegasus 25 and 2006. However, the shoe steeped in running history focuses less on aesthetics and streetwear, but also concentrates on increasingly better features for optimal running.
SO CHRISTOPHER STYLES THE HEMP COLORWAY
The P-6000 is classically made from a material mix of leather and textile. Even if the new colorway sounds like Nike has strayed from its basic recipe, we can report a false alarm. The Nike P-6000 Hemp is not made from hemp or has the typical coarsely woven look. Instead, the silhouette is based on undyed hemp ropes and adapts the color tones.
The natural colors and white accents are captured by @christopher in his outfit. He has opted for a white shirt and beige shirt from Stüssy. To draw a little more attention to the sneakers, he combines them with contrasting black trousers - also from Stüssy. This trick creates a harmonious look that highlights the clean shoe and doesn't let it get lost. If you don't own a P-6000 yet, here's a little tip: the silhouette is similar to the Air Max and Air Force 1 models from Nike.
The sneaker is currently available online at Nike. Unfortunately, some sizes are already out of stock, but you might still be lucky. In addition to the Hemp, 13 other very strong colorways are currently listed. So it's also worth checking out the other colorways.
