Nike Presto Hello Kitty - The wait is over

THE STORY OF THE
NIKE PRESTO HELLO KITTY

In 2004, Hello Kitty creator Sanrio wanted to host an exhibition of Hello Kitty merch. The cult cat was then celebrated its 40th birthday. Nike should design four Prestos for it, designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara , among others. Back then, 500 couples were supposed to come, but that never happened. Instead, the shoes were reportedly given away to friends and family. Allegedly there are only 12 pieces of the Fujiwara Presto worldwide. That explains the disturbed resell prices.

The 2022 release will be slightly different from the Nike Presto 's from back then. The neoprene-like upper comes in bright blue, also known as University Blue. There are Hello Kitty faces all over the upper. The laces are white. On the entire heel is also the cat 's face, but almost in 3D. Of course, the Prestos come in a special box. Appropriate apparel should also be available.
