Palace x Crocs Mellow Clog – Double Trouble

Palace is currently at the top of its game again when it comes to collaborations. This year, Uggs, Vans and now the two Palace x Crocs Mellow clogs came out. And while this is the third collaboration, it's the first time Palace has taken on this new silhouette. @christopher bought both colourways. Things are going really well at Crocs at the moment. They made a record-breaking $2.7 billion in sales in 2022 alone, which is roughly equivalent to selling four pairs every second. Wow. That's why it's no surprise that the brand is churning out awesome collaborations. This year alone there have been these crazy versions: these MSCHF Botten , Cowboy boots , a restock from Lighting McQueen Croc and the first release from his buddy Mater Hook , Minion Crocs , a pair of Crocs from Shrek and now the Pac-Man Crocs are coming up in collaboration with McDonalds . The list is long. We explain the trend by saying that people currently like to wear cozy clothes and are absolutely accepted on the street. British GQ calls it the “loungecore aesthetic.”

THIS IS WHAT THE PALACE X CROCS LOOK LIKE

Palace and Crocs are no strangers, although this is the first time they have designed the Mellow Clog together. There have been three Classic Clogs in the last three years and they sold out in a very short time. We can't really explain why the Mellow Clog is still online. The Mellow Clog is actually quite new and has only been interpreted once by someone else, namely Satisfy Running.

The two Palace Mellow clogs come in the colors "Brown & Bone" and "Celery" and are equipped with the comfortable LiteRide technology and the complete Palace branding on the upper. The Mellow Clog looks quite similar to the Classic Clog, but there are a few significant differences between the two models. Instead of the usual Croslite foam that runs through the entire Crocs range, the Mellow Clog uses LiteRide material, which is softer and lighter. In addition, a new midsole has been added that has grooves. This new design will be particularly interesting for old Crocs fans, as the Classic Clog is known for being a bit slippery, especially on flatter surfaces.
