The new Puma Jamming is released tonight

The time has come tonight: Puma is not only presenting us with a completely new silhouette, but also a newly developed cushioning system in the form of the "Jamming". The colorway for the first drop is called "Forest Night" and is, as the name suggests, rather dark. The shade of green on the evoKNIT upper is accentuated solely by a few black speckles and the very strikingly designed midsole. Which actually brings us to the topic, because as you can see, the midsole is filled with small beads called "NRGY Beads". These beads are not firmly or somehow connected to each other, but are loosely enclosed in the midsole. The idea is, of course, to help the runner achieve the best possible cushioning.

The name "Jamming" is intended to describe the moment when the NRGY beads, which are located in the transparent midsole, are compressed by the pressure from above.What is particularly interesting about the jamming technology is that it is possible to produce the beads in the midsole in different colors. Imagine the Puma Jamming in all white or all black, for example. There's nothing extraordinary to say about the sizing, i.e. the fit of the Puma Jamming. My normal US 11.5 fits me perfectly, so the shoe is absolutely "true to size". There is also no urgent need to lace up the shoe, as the Puma Jamming hugs the foot perfectly thanks to the sockliner. So if you belong to the "loose lace gang", you can't go wrong with this shoe.The retail price of the Puma Jamming is quite high at around 170 euros, but is absolutely normal in comparison. Similar models, whether made from Prime or Flyknit, are at the same price level, and if you want to try out the Puma Jamming for yourself, you can do so tonight at 43einhalb and asphaltgold.
