Puma x Ronnie Fieg "The Sakura Project" - Release info

Ronnie Fieg and Puma have teamed up again to release the "Sakura Project", which consists of two models, the R698 mid and the R698 low. I don't think there's any question which of the two will be the more popular, because the mid-high version of the Puma R698 has already been flamed on the net, and I immediately noticed that the material used on the Sakura Pack is similar (or even the same?!) to the material from the last collabo with ASICS. Especially the fine perforation on the pigskin shows clear parallels to the "West Coast Project" and I personally really like the R698 low. The colors match very well and I like the color blocking in the toebox area. The metal caps on the rivets shouldn't have been there, they always rattle when you walk and that's annoying in the long run, but I don't want to say too much about the R698 Mid. The model was created by Ronnie himself and is being launched on the market in this form for the first time. The R698 mid will certainly be a shelf warmer, or not sell out as quickly as we are used to from the "fieg" collaborations. Understandable, I think. It's not really for me, but I'm not the type of person who likes high or mid tops anyway, and both models come in special packaging that probably contains three different pairs of laces. The official release is on March 20 at the KITH pop-up store, which will be located in the United Arrows & Sons Shibuya flagship store in Japan at the time.Here's your opinion on the Puma x Ronnie Fieg "The Sakura Project"
