Reebok Classic x Burn Rubber Ventilator - Release info

The Reebok party continues. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Reebok Ventilator, Reebok Classic and Detroit-based boutique Burn Rubber have created another collabo model. For the latest Reebok Classic collaboration, the owners were inspired by "Motor City." The Burn Rubber Ventilator, with its different textures and color-coordinated details, was inspired by Coit's previous trips to Boblo Amusement Park, which was located on an island and could only be reached by a 45-minute boat ride. Alongside fooling around with girls, telling jokes and playing slot machines, this boat trip is one of Coit's fondest memories of his youth. Although Williams was never on the trips to the theme park himself, he showed great interest in the stories and wanted to revive the memories in the form of a sneaker. The yellow chimney tip of the boot can be found in a subtle detail on the lacing. The grey, white and blue color accents of the upper pick up on the characteristic design of the ship. The slightly transparent sole is reminiscent of the water, while the typical Burn Rubber hangtag and heel branding represent the mooring area of the boot and round off the authentic Boblo look of the shoe.The Reebok Classic x Burn Rubber Ventilator will be available starting Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Reebok Certified Network retailers worldwide, including Solebox and Titolo.
