Reebok Pump Fury OG - latest pickup
The Reebok Pump Fury was always a model that I smiled at a bit. Sure, I've always looked at the Fury from time to time, but my main focus has always been on other models and silhouettes, but a few weeks ago I met the lovely Daniel through my friends at Animal Tracks. Daniel works for Reebok and offered me the chance to "test" a Pump Fury at a chance meeting. When I strapped the Pump Fury to my foot (literally), I was pretty smitten with them after a short time, and the inflatable upper fits the foot perfectly and provides good support. The split sole (with a carbon bridge, by the way) also cushions fast and hard steps perfectly. I only noticed the weight of the Pump Fury a second time - it doesn't have any. No, seriously...due to the cut-outs and the thin upper, the shoe is actually very light, even if it does come across as very bulky. I'm not normally a fan of yellow shoes, but with the red accents, the Pump Fury just looks great! By the way, my first thoughts after taking the shoes out of the box were mixed. I wasn't really sure whether I liked the Pump Fury, as it doesn't really correspond to my ideal idea of a "sneaker", but okay, you have to think outside the box and that was exactly the reason why I decided to buy them.In hindsight, the Reebok Pump Fury was a choice that I'm very happy with, because with the Fury I definitely have a real sneaker innovation in my closet, which is still a cutting-edge shoe today despite its 20 years of age :)If you're also interested in strapping something different to your feet, you can find the Reebok Pump Fury in our release calendar.
