The New Balance 2002r has gained a lot of attention since last year's Protection Pack. The Higher Learning Pack came out recently and the second Protection Pack with new colourways is coming soon. Most of you probably won't know Bryant Giles. At least we didn't know him before. Giles is an artist from Chicago but has since settled in Los Angeles. He has been painting passionately since he was three years old. "It was the best way for me to really communicate," he once told Vogue. After demonstrating his skills on screen for decades, Bryant Giles is now bringing his art to shoes.

THIS IS THE NEW BALANCE 2002R

New Balance teamed up with Bryant Giles and had him design a 2002r. Good decision, because the 2002r is currently hot shit at NB. The colourway comes with an olive green canvas upper. The "N" logo is a wool patch that can be removed with Velcro. The highlights of the shoe are of course Giles' drawings, which are embroidered on the canvas in different colors. Including noses, mouths and eyes. The insole features Giles artwork. Nice shoe.
