Tom Sachs teases the Nike Mars Yard Overshoe

Tom Sachs is back!

The most unusual collaboration partner of Nike was responsible for one of the most successful releases of 2017. The Nike Mars Yard 2.0 was not only extremely popular, but also caused resale figures to skyrocket, and less than a year later, the US artist announced his return with a video on his Nikecraft page. Together with Nike, a more or less cryptic video with the title "Paradox Bullets" was released, which at first glance reveals the reference to Tom Sachs' "Ten Bullets" philosophy. what this means for us in terms of footwear remains unclear, as the video does not allow for more than speculation. The new "Mars Yard Overshoe" silhouette looks a bit like a high-top moon boot in the look of the familiar "Mars Yard 2.0". Two straps replace the lacing. As Nike's latest technologies will of course be used, it could very well be that we can expect React Foam. Rumor has it that the Sachs x Nike "Mars Yard Overshoe" will also be available in infant sizes so that you can also cater for the smallest astronauts at home.
