Weekly Rotation - Part I
Lately I've been thinking about how I can make my page a bit more interesting for you, and I've been thinking about it: What could interest people, why do people come to my page in the first place? Of course, on the one hand to find out the latest news from the sneaker biz, but at the same time to get to know a bit about me and my passion, and on top of that I've been annoyed for a long time that I have so many great shoes here that you don't actually get to see very often. So I thought about introducing a kind of "sneaker diary" here on the site. I've simply called this section "Weekly Rotation", and from now on I'll try to show you the sneakers I wear in my everyday life. I know that such a sneaker diary means a lot of work, and I'm sure I won't be able to present my "Weekly Rotation" every week. But it's worth a try, so I'm happy to present last week's Weekly Rotation and hope you enjoy it! P.S.: I could also imagine featuring some of you here, what do you think? Monday: ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte V Atomic BlueThe ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte V was a rather random choice this morning. I was in a bit of a rush and didn't really have time to rummage through my closet to pick out my favorite pair. But it doesn't matter, because the ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte V Atomic Blue is one of my favorite sneakers and for me one of the strongest GR from last year. Tuesday: adidas Stan Smith MintWhat can I say about this shoe. My on feet pictures have been celebrated like crazy on the net and I just love this shoe. The colorway is just too good and perfect for summer! It's funny that there's so much hype about these sneakers now, after all, they were in various outlets and I also snapped them up from the sale. Wednesday: miadidas ZX500 CamoMy girlfriend and I made ourselves some new miadidas ZX500 in camouflage look a few weeks ago. Both shoes are absolute planks, even if they differ only minimally. Don't worry, a separate blog entry with significantly more pictures is planned for both models. Stay tuned for this beast! Thursday: Puma XT2 AchromaticI've owned the Puma XT2 Achromatic since the last Sneakerness in Cologne. I thought the shoe was pretty cool when it was released, but I never really tried to get my hands on one. Fortunately, I found someone to trade with at Sneakerness. Primeknit Boost vs Puma XT2 Achromatic was probably a good swap for both sides, especially because the Primeknit was too big for me. Friday: ASICS Tiger x Titolo PapercutI'm not quite warming up to the ASICS Tiger x Titolo Papercut. I don't know exactly what bothers me, but I think the shoe is just too playful for me. But since I hardly own any other black shoes, and especially no Gel Lyte III, I'll probably keep the sneaker after all. Saturday: ASICS Tiger Gel Diablo OGMy ASICS Gel Diablo OG. One of my first finds on KLEKT and a really great shoe. If you knew what I paid for it, you'd be surprised. But that is and remains a trade secret. We don't talk about money in Germany... ;-) Sunday: adidas Superstar by Pharrell WilliamsThe adidas Superstar is one of those shoes that I always wanted as a child and of course never got from my parents. I'm not a big fan of the shoe anymore, but somehow two colorways from the adidas x Pharrell Williams collabo made it to me. The "Bright Orange" is one of them.
