Air Max 180 Ultramarine

This year, the Air Max 180 Ultramarine is set to make a comeback. Some time ago, there were rumors that the AM180 would hit the (virtual) shelves in a Big Bubble Edition, but this has not yet happened. Whether the OG Air Max 180 will come with a normal or a Big Bubble Air unit this year remains unclear. The only thing that is certain is that the shoe will come in one form this year. The sneaker has the item number FJ9259-100 and the colorway White/Ultramarine/Solar Red. The shoe will be priced at around 160.00 euros. Originally released in 1991, the Ultramarine colorway of the Nike Air Max is by far the best-known version of the classic silhouette. The shoe comes with an all-white upper made from a mix of mesh, suede and leather, with contrasting accents in Solar Red and Ultramarine. The best thing about the 2024 model: according to Nike designer Prestology, the silhouette returns in its original 1991 shape.

According to the rumors, it is said that Nike will use a Big Bubble sole for the 2024 version. Whether the shoe will come in both versions or just one remains unclear, as we can't tell from the pictures. The release for the AM180 Big Ultramarine Big Bubble can be found here.

When will the Air Max 180 Ultramarine drop?

Unfortunately, there is no final release date for the Air Max 180 Ultramarine yet. It was said to be coming in March, presumably for Air Max Day. But that hasn't happened. We therefore assume that the shoe will not arrive until spring. We'll keep you up to date here.
