The Nike Air Max Plus OG Hyper Blue, originally released in 1998 and designed by Sean McDowell, is returning to the market in 2025 after seven years. It was last seen in 2018 to mark the 20th anniversary of the model, along with the colorways "Sunset" and "Voltage Purple". The upcoming version is expected to be back in the familiar colors black, chamois, sky blue and hyper blue.
This model of the Nike Air Max Plus features a Hyper Blue mesh upper framed by black, wavy TPU overlays. In addition, the shoe features an elastic lacing system for an adaptive fit, padded tongues for added comfort and suede and leather detailing on the mudguard and heel. The midsole is equipped with an Air Max element for responsive cushioning. The design is rounded off with 3M reflective details along the tongue and the characteristic TN branding.
