Two new colorways of the ASICS Gel-Kayano Legacy will be released in the next few days. We have therefore summarized everything you need to know about the sneakers with the item numbers 1203A325-020 / 1203A325-100 and the colorways White Black / Pure Silver. The retail price for the Gel-Kayano Legacy is 179.00 euros.

The Gel-Kayano Legacy Sneaker draws inspiration from various Gel-Kayano designs as well as the seminal events that have shaped the 30-year history of this series. When developing this model, we used the Gel-Kayano 14 sneaker as a starting point and decorated the upper with different materials and embellishments that come from different eras of Gel-Kayano development. This version is available in two different color versions that celebrate the 30th anniversary of this product line. One variant is characterized by asymmetrical coloring that represents the iconic color gradients from the Gel-Kayano archive. The other variant emphasizes the frequent use of silver in the chronological sequence of the shoe's design, while 3M elements highlight the technical origins of this design.

As already described, the White Black colorway, which has the item number 1203A325-100, relies on a mix of red and blue, while white forms the basis. The upper consists of a white mesh construction with red and blue overlays. The toebox is covered with a blue-yellow rubber layer and a blue metallic element has been attached between the metatarsal area and the toebox. The sole unit then picks up blue and red again and combines them with white.

The Pure Silver colorway, with item number 1203A325-020, is much simpler in its design. All of the elements just mentioned are in silver and associate them with grey. Only the tongue, shoelaces and the back of the sole are black.

When can you buy the ASICS sneakers?

The ASICS Gel-Kayano Legacy will not drop until September 15, 2023. The two colorways of the Gel-Kayano Legacy will be launched at 00:00.
