The silhouette of the ASICS Gel-NYC combines various design elements of the most famous ASICS running shoes and stands out with this unique combination. The upper is heavily inspired by the GEL-NIMBUS 3, a classic among ASICS running shoes. A closer look also reveals details of the ASICS MC-PLUS V that give the sneaker a special retro charm. The midsole of the GEL-NYC is also based on the proven technologies of the GEL-Cumulus 16.
