The Ultralite MiG VIC from ATELIER KAMP is inspired by the "Vienna International Center", also known as "UNO-City". This extraordinary building from the 1970s has significantly shaped our aesthetic perception and is at the same time synonymous with the Danube Island - Vienna's most popular local recreation area.

The Austrian architect Johann Staber planned this building in a total of 6 Y-shaped parts, which should shade each other as little as possible in their striking arrangement. The VIC opened its doors in 1979 - exactly when Bob Gamm launched his "shoes with a pocket" - and has since been rented by the United Nations (UN) for a symbolic shilling (€0.07).

KAMP's late Aunt Heide worked at the Uno City supermarket as a kid and provided him with all these weird and rare candies and drinks. She was his connection to "cool". This is for you.

The '90s indoor silhouette is clad primarily in butter-soft nappa leather, with micro-perforations at the toe and quilted side panels that reference the building's structure. A nice bluish light gray takes up most of the upper, while dark gray suede covers the heel area. Different shades of 70s orange can be found on the animal stripes, the shoelaces, the lace jewels and the terry cloth lining. White nubuck and cream beige suede details and purple TPU eyelets provide accents. A cream beige sole with purple details and a purple stabilizer complete this future classic.
