Unlike the Air Jordan 1 '85, which received quite a bit of applause when it debuted, the 1985 Dunk High flew relatively under the radar. But that hasn't stopped Nike from rolling out new releases like this new Blue Denim colorway. The overlays, for starters, are made from a thick, slightly puckered denim that's evenly faded to a light wash. And unlike a real pair of jeans, the stitching opts for dark blue threads along the edge of each of the above panels. Completing the construction is a row of tumbled leathers, whose white finish complements the adjacent laces and tongue, as well as the lining and outsole. The midsole, on the other hand, emulates age through slight yellowing.
