The second collaboration between GANNI and New Balance brings a pinch of the unexpected to the long tradition of running innovation. A tongue-in-cheek and confident twist on the "everyday sport" from GANNI's first project, explores the sleek ways in which purposeful performance design is incorporated into everyday life. The obviously technical aesthetic of the New Balance 1906R features flexible ACTEVA LITE cushioning, shock-absorbing N-ergy and segmented ABZORB SBS pods on the heel. The upper is a combination of breathable mesh and curved synthetic overlays. These elements are presented in an eye-catching color palette inspired by bright yellow, black and white, with roots in performance. Collaboratively engineered details include a unique dual heel pull tab, tongue label, insole and lace holder with an embossed "G" as a distinctive feature.

The Blaze Yellow Colorway, item number M1906RGA, has only yellow and black elements. Yellow clearly dominates here. Black can be found in the inner lining and on the sole unit. The laces are also black, but there are also light yellow accents on the laces. The material of the upper consists of a mesh construction and plastic overlays.

The second New Balance 1906, with the item number M1906RGG and the colourway Egret, relies on a white basis, the mesh construction. Here you can find black elements on the upper. The N logo and a loop on the tongue are designed in yellow. Lining and tread use the same black as its yellow counterpart.
