Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Green

The time has come this week. With the Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Green, a new collaboration on the popular Dunk SB is coming to stores and international online stores.

The band Grateful Dead is known for its psychedelic music and iconography. Among the most famous graphic symbols are the Steal Your Face skull and the colorful, dancing bears (also known as Marching Bears). This unique edition of the Dunk Low was primarily inspired by the latter. This fact is clearly reflected in the upper made of shaggy faux fur and soft suede overlays.
An abstract Swoosh is reminiscent of the fringed neckerchiefs of the illustrious bears and clearly sets this silhouette apart from the previous models. Many details bear the band's signature and make the look unique. These include the lace tips decorated with lightning bolts, the new font on the heel and the eye-catching text graphics on the inside of the tongues. Other highlights include the hidden badge on the insole, additional laces for a varied look and a cleverly hidden zipper pocket that emphasizes the mind-expanding style.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro stands for legendary Dunk style with a low-profile silhouette. The Zoom Air element in the heel and the padded tongue ensure optimum comfort when skating. The iconic model will be launched in other strong colorways over the coming months.

The official release date of the Nike SB Dunk is this week, on July 24, 2020 to be precise. The release will start at 9:00 a.m. in the stores listed here.
