The NB327 reimagined running heritage with a forward-thinking reinterpretation through design cues from the 1970s. Acclaimed artist and designer Joshua Vides amplifies the creative process with his design.

The unmistakable aesthetic on the 327 features an edgy revision of the proven wedge silhouette, oversized, asymmetrically placed "N" branding, and wraparound, trail-inspired lugged outsoles. These parts of the sneaker feature an all-over paint splatter design done in the artist's signature black and white palette.

Inspired by his own paint and mud splattered New Balance shoes, Vides' design is a reminder that an artist does real hands-on work at work.
