Nike Calm Slide Sail

A few days ago, Nike released the first images of a new slide. Namely from the Nike Calm Slide. So far we have seen five colorways: Sail, Geode Teal, Black, Sesame and Jade Ice. We create a release for each colourway and link it for you. This release is about the Nike Calm Slide Sail.

Foam slip-ons have been trending for the last few years. Especially in 2022, the demand has really gone through the roof. Above all, of course, the demand for the adidas Yeezy Slides from Kanye. But Crocs are also becoming increasingly popular. Not least because Salehe Bembury is collaborating with Crocs. Since Kanye is no longer with adidas and the brand now has to see how their slides continue, other brands can gain a better foothold. So Nike has chosen the best time to launch the Calm Slides. And maybe Nike can fill the big gap.

Although there is currently no final information, it is obvious that the slides come with a foam base and are very similar to the Yeezy's. The insole is slightly ribbed and ensures a perfect grip. The outsole is reminiscent of that of the Air Force 1. Otherwise, the design is rather minimalistic. Only a small Swoosh can be seen on the side of the bracket. The shape also seems to be slightly round, i.e. the sole is curved. That's why they look so similar to the Yeezy's. There are likely to be three unisex pairs, one for men and one for women.

When can you buy the Slides?

The Nike Calm Slide Sail should actually not come until autumn 2023. We don't know yet whether all colorways will come at the same time. As soon as we have an official date, we will of course let you know! If you don't want to miss the shoe under any circumstances, here's a little tip:
