Nike Dunk High Year of the Tiger

2022 is the Year of the Tiger on the Chinese calendar and Nike is releasing a trio of sneakers, the Nike Air Force 1 Low, Nike Dunk Low and this Nike Dunk High Year of the Tiger to celebrate the holiday. You can get all the important information about the dunk high in this article.

The sneaker is made of black and cream suede, with the toe box and mudguard being cream and the rest of the upper being black. Tiger stripes are sewn on the heel and the Swoosh and ankle flap are embossed with clouds in traditional Chinese art. There is a tab on the tongue, reminiscent of older football boots, with Nike branding embroidered alongside clouds in gold.

The inner lining is light gold, the inside of the tongue is in the same shade and embroidered with dumplings traditionally eaten on Lunar New Year's Day. A mini Swoosh and Chinese characters can be seen on the side part of the sneaker and the toe pocket respectively. A white midsole and a translucent orange outsole with tiger stripes complete the sneaker.
