The Nike Dunk High Wu Tang is a special sneaker in the history of the Nike Dunk series and sneaker culture. It was produced in 1999 in an extremely limited edition of only around 36 pairs and was never intended for general sale. The shoe was originally designed as a tribute to the influential Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most important rap groups of the 1990s. Many of the pairs went directly to members of the group as well as friends and family members, making the shoe a collector's item from the start.

The Wu-Tang Dunk High stands out with its striking yellow and black color scheme, which directly represents the colors of the Wu-Tang Clan. The shoe is made of high-quality yellow leather with black overlays, giving it a powerful yet classic look. The embroidered Wu-Tang logo on the heel of the shoe is particularly iconic, further emphasizing the connection to the rap group. The design is based on the original college Dunk models, in particular the Nike Dunk Iowa from the Be True to Your School collection, which gives the shoe an additional nostalgic touch.
