The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Chlorophyll is arguably one of the best sneaker collaborations of the year and will be re-released in early September 2024. This reissue is a revival of the iconic Chlorophyll colorway, which was originally released in 2009 as part of an exclusive collaboration between Dutch streetwear label Patta and Nike.

The original release of the AM Chlorophyll in 2009 was part of a limited edition collection created in collaboration with Patta to celebrate the store's 5th anniversary. This collection, which included five different Air Max 1 models, is now considered a milestone in the history of sneaker culture.

Nike and Patta have set themselves the goal of retaining the essence of the original while introducing modern updates in terms of comfort and materials. The new AM 1 Chlorophyll features a striking design that combines the classic silhouette with an eye-catching colorway. The upper is made of green denim, mesh and high-quality nubuck leather in a warm shade of gray, with the eponymous chlorophyll (a bright green) setting the tone. This color can be found on the Swoosh, the Nike logo on the heel and on parts of the outsole and tongue. The interplay of gray and green gives the sneaker a fresh yet retro-inspired look.
