In the 80s, the ZX running shoe, based on the findings of biomechanics, revolutionized the international running world with its high-tech design. In this streetwear version, a nostalgic feel meets modern innovation as adidas combines true vintage vibes with new materials.

This variant was reworked by designer Sean Wotherspoon and is reminiscent of the previously released adidas Superstar. Wotherspoon makes use of a multicolored upper and places several brandings as well as embroideries on the upper.
