The iconic design of Shigeyuki Mitsuis on the ASICS, which is already 31 years old, will soon be released in collaboration with Spanish retailer Sivasdescalzo. The split-tongue silhouette is made using an eco-conscious manufacturing process using recycled elements and leftover sneaker scraps.

SVD's eco-friendly approach to the GEL-Lyte III isn't just limited to the upper half of the shoe, as the cushioning is also made from leftover foam from other footwear products. The retailer's signature S|V|D logo is embroidered on the lateral heel, while the brand's emblem is embossed on the lower heel areas. Also, the shoes come in recyclable packaging.
