The term "collabo" or "collaboration" (German: Kollaboration) refers to releases that are launched by a brand in conjunction with another brand or a creative individual such as a designer, artist or musician. The design component always varies. While some collaborations only provide input via the colorway, other launches also involve changes or adjustments to the design.
In some cases, a completely separate line is launched with its own silhouettes, as is the case with Yeezy or adidas x Pharell Williams, for example.
We also often see store collabos, such as Kith x adidas or Patta x Nike.
