Air is probably the most famous cushioning technology from Nike. Air Force, Air Max etc. Air Force, Air Max, etc. do not have the word in their name for nothing, but instead refer to the fact that an air bubble is built into the models. You can imagine the whole thing as an air cushion filled with an inert gas mixture. What is visible in the Air Max 720 can also be hidden in other models. Incidentally, design legend Tinker Hatfield was the first to provide a glimpse of the technology through the recess in the sole of the Air Max 1.
