With a colourway reminiscent of the Jordan 13 Flint or the Jordan 13 Obsidian of the past few years, the upcoming color gives the 13th model of the Air Jordan series a new look. Most of the upper half is made from tumbled leather, with the nubby panels along the profiles swapping out the mesh for the animal product.

The toe and lateral forefoot areas are finished in a Light Steel Gray tone, while most of the upper comes in a flawless "White". The eponymous "French Blue" hue enlivens the suede material that appears on the left and right above the midsole and on the back; the midsole also follows this pattern. Finally, Jumpman branding at the top of the tongue and outsole departs from its surroundings with "flame red" flair for an ensemble worthy of the Number 23.
